BACOLOD City – Police arrested a “high-value” suspect in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 6, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Seven sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P5,000 were recovered from 35-year-old Ronald Azotes, a police report showed.
Azotes was nabbed after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer around 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 21, it added.
The suspect was a former drug surrenderer, police said.
He was detained in the Victorias City police station’s lockup facility.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against Azotes./PN
