BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay 2 faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The 22-year-old John Mark Equibal, tagged as a “high-value” drug target, was caught in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Banago around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 5.
Prior to his apprehension, Equibal allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer P500.
Confiscated from his possession were six sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P68,000.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 3./PN
