BACOLOD City – After he was hit by a vehicle, a 72-year-old man died in Barangay Masaplod Norte, Dauin, Negros Oriental.
Resident Barsilio Alagao was crossing the street around 9 p.m. on Saturday when a multi-cab hit him, a police report showed.
The driver fled after hitting Barsilio, witnesses Pablito Tacay and Madilyn Jane Villanueva said.
Barsilio was brought to the Dauin Municipal Health Center where he was pronounced “dead on arrival.”
Police have yet to identify the driver./PN
