BACOLOD City – Police were still locating the suspects in stabbing to death a woman in Sitio Bugtong Lubi, Barangay Damutan, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental.
The 59-year-old Edwina Panuevo was found lifeless lying inside her house around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, her daughter Myla told the police.
Panuevo’s body bore multiple stab wounds, police said.
According to investigators, a certain Ontoy Alpuerto, 32, and Nono Luyas, 39, residents of Basay, Negros Oriental, had a hand in killing Panuevo.
Police have yet to determine the motive in the stabbing./PN
