ILOILO City – A 60-year-old resident of Barangay Kinagdan, Igbaras, Iloilo was believed electrocuted.

His neighbors found Jose Maria Ecube dead at around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Ecube’s body was touching a live wire, a police report showed.

The elderly man was taken to the Rep. Pedro Trono Memorial District Hospital in Guimbal where he was pronounced “dead on arrival.”

Police were still looking into the incident as of this writing./PN
