ILOILO City – A 44-year-old woman was arrested at the Ramon Q. Avanceña Hall of Justice on Bonifacio Drive.
Jade “Beloved” Celeste of Zone 2, Barangay North Baluarte, Molo district has been wanted for an illegal gambling charge, a police report showed.
Officers served her a warrant of arrest at 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
Celeste was placed in the custody of the Molo police station.
Specifically the suspect was charged with violation of Presidential Decree 1602, the law that prescribes stiffer penalties against illegal gambling.
The court set at P36,000 the bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
