ILOILO City – A drunken man was arrested for illegal possession of firearm at a store in Barangay Tan Pael, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
He was 39-year-old Ronald Marcella of Barangay 7, Tigbauan, a police report showed.
Police responded in the area after a concerned citizen reported Marcella to the police on Aug. 30 for firing his gun twice while having a drinking spree, it added.
When frisked, the suspect yielded a .45-caliber pistol with bullets, police said.
Recovered from the crime scene were two empty shells of .45- caliber pistol.
Marcella was detained in the Tigbauan municipal police station’s custodial facility, facing charges./PN
