BACOLOD City – The driver of a tricycle that crashed against a motorcycle in Barangay Bocana, Ilog, Negros Occidental ended up dead, a police report showed.
The 45-year-old resident Levy Laurente sustained head and body injuries.
Rescuers rushed him to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental where attending physician Dr. Therese Morata pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
The crash happened around 2 p.m. on Friday, the report stated.
Laurente was driving his Honda TMX tricycle at the time when he bumped into a Kawasaki Bajaj 100 motorcycle carrying two minors.
The minors – both 15 years old – sustained injuries.
They were also brought to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital where they were currently undergoing treatment.
Police were still investigating the incident./PN
