Iloilo poomsae team bags medals in nat’l tilt

MANILA – The Iloilo Poomsae Team took home medals during the 2019 National Poomsae Championships held recently at the SM Mall of Asia Entertainment Music Hall in Pasay City.

The Iloilo squad bagged gold medals in recognized poomsae event courtesy of Jairus Luc Kristorei Lagon, Jesseray Lucas Frantilla, Artha Camille Tanagon, and Aryan Nicole Nonis.

Taking silver medals in synchronized poomsae were Frantilla, Nonis, Tanagon, Seth Ryan Templanza, Jan Andrew Gancero, Lansil Andrew Brotarlo, Lyn Owem Santacera, Markishi Anthonette Ting, and Mariel Angela Siscar.

Bagging bronze medals in recognized poomsae were Siscar, Brotarlo, Paolo Vito Gonzalez, Audric Zachariah Balsomo, Cindy Joy Diasnes, Elizabeth Marie Borres and Kean Ryth Bornazal.

Kristi Marie Siscar and Exiovince Earlle Albor also have silver medals in recognized individual poomsae while Lagon, Diasnes, Kyle Chin, Exiovince Earlle Albor and Elaine Margareth Borres won bronze as recognized team poomsae.

Reaching the quarterfinals and semifinals were Justine James Diasnes, Antonio Miguel Nafarrete, Francesca Caeli Agulto and Diana Ashley Dello.
