ON Dec. 3, the Roberto O. Chua Che Wai Foundation, Inc. and Iloilo Society Commercial (ISC) Inc. held the “Winners Meet Heroes 5” blood drive at the Tagbak branch of ISC.
Aiming to promote, enhance and instill awareness and appreciation of the importance of blood donations to the different sectors of society, the event was held in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross – Iloilo Chapter – in cooperation with the Iloilo City Government; Society Agri-Venture Enterprises, Inc.; the people of Barangay Dungon B., Jaro, Iloilo City; the Jaro District Advisory Council – Jaro Philippine National Police; No Boundaries Advertising and Events; Palawan Pawnshop; the Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) Community College Parent Teachers Association; Philippine Dental Association Iloilo Chapter; Iloilo Public Safety head Jeck Conlu; Magdalo Iloilo Province; and the Guardians Brotherhood Incorporated Aleosan Chapter.
Meanwhile, Panay News and RMN DYRI 774 were the media partners.
During the event, successful donors received a complimentary T-Shirt, a buffet meal, and a bag of groceries.
