ILOILO – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) approved Provincial Ordinance No. 2020-216 establishing monetary award and recognition to qualified octogenarians, nonagenarian and centenarians.
For Octogenarians (85 years old)
* cash incentive of P5,000 from the Province of Iloilo, and congratulatory letter and certification from the governor.
For Nonagenarian (95 years old)
* cash incentive of Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000) from the Province of Iloilo, and congratulatory letter and certification from the Governor.
For Centenarian (100 years old or more)
* Cash incentive of P20,000 from the Province of Iloilo, congratulatory letter and certification from the Governor, and plaque of recognition as the centenarian citizen awardee, and Sangguniang Panlalawigan resolution recognizing the exemplary centenarians.
Those qualified must submitted to their respective Municipal Social Welfare Officer pertinent documents such as birth certificate and certificate of residency from the barangay captain./PN
