BACOLOD City – She was collecting bets for the illegal numbers game jai-alai when she was arrested, a police report showed.
The 35-year-old resident Helen Caballero was caught around 8:45 p.m. on Friday on corner Narra Extension-Lopez Jaena Street in Barangay Villamonte, the report further stated.
Recovered from Caballero’s possession were, four tipsters with codenames “Victory,” a bundle of betting stubs, P160 gambling money, and a ball pen.
