ROXAS City – Four drug suspects, including the No. 1 in Jamindan, Capiz, were caught in separate operations recently.
The 48-year-old Nova Desamparado of Barangay Jaena, Jamindan sold suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P500.
Three sachets of suspected shabu, two mobile phones and a motorcycle were seized from her.
Desamparado was hauled to the lockup cell of the Jamindan police station.
Operatives of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (PAIDSOTG) Team Charlie and the Municipal AIDSOTG led by senior inspectors Alcer Monsera and Bryant Fallera, respectively, staged the Oct. 6 operation around 3:12 p.m.
In Tapaz town, the 49-year-old Marlon Fabella was arrested in Barangay Bagong Barrio around 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 9.
Two sachets of suspected shabu and a cell phone were recovered from him.
MAIDSOTG operatives led by Senior Inspector Hilbert Gervero conducted the operation.
On Oct. 8, police arrested two illegal drug suspects: one in Barangay Punta Tabuc here, another in Dumalag.
Redeemer dela Cruz, 37, was collared in Sitio Cassadra, Barangay Punta Tabuc around 6 p.m. The Libas villager yielded a sachet of suspected shabu.
Around 2 p.m., the 50-year-old Crispin Obciana sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P300.
Two sachets of suspected shabu and a motorcycle were confiscated from the resident of Barangay Ongol Ilawod, Dumarao.
All suspects were detained in police station lockup cells and facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
