ILOILO City – A foreman in Barangay Baybay, Roxas City was hospitalized. A laborer stabbed him.
The 43-year-old Christopher Besa sustained a wound on his right arm on Jan. 23 around 7:15 p.m.
The suspect, 40-year-old Ronnie Nobleza, was arrested and detained at the Roxas City police station.
The stabbing happened during a chance encounter of Besa and Nobleza on the road, police said.
Nobleza reportedly confronted Besa over the victim’s alleged affair with the suspect’s wife, police said.
Besa was taken to the Roxas City Memorial Provincial Hospital./PN
