BACOLOD City – A Jordan national was arrested in an entrapment operation that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) staged in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
NBI Special Investigator lll Maria Contessa Lastimosa identified the foreigner as Imad Housni Hamdan.
Hamdan was accused of illegal recruitment, NBI agents said.
An NBI agent who concealed herself as an applicant met with Hamdan in a food chain on Friday.
The meeting led to Hamdan’s arrest.
According to NBI agents, Hamdan is not connected to any recruitment agency and uses his recruits to gain “large amount of money.”/PN
