BACOLOD City – A 24-year-old woman was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Maricar Rose Montalvo was detained in the Kabankalan City police station custodial jail.
Montalvo, a resident of Barangay 4, Kabankalan City, sold a plastic pack of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P100.
Eight more plastic packs of similar substance and P2,130 cash were seized from her.
Police under Superintendent Rhea Santos staged the operation around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday./PN
