BACOLOD City – A man was shot to death in Barangay Camansi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 38-year-old John Paul Sola of Kabankalan City died of gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Sola was driving a vehicle when four unidentified suspects peppered him with bullets around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Sola was brought to the Dr. Gumersindo Garcia Sr. Memorial Hospital in Kabankalan City where he was declared “dead on arrival.”
Four empty cartridges of a .45-caliber firearm were recovered from the crime scene, the report added.
Officers of the Kabankalan City police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the shooting./PN
