KALIBO, Aklan – Oh, for the love of the dead!
What was supposedly a routine patrol for barangay tanods one night in this capital town turned into a discovery of some hot “action” in a graveyard.
Andagao village watchmen found a couple having sex along tombs at the municipal cemetery along Calachuchi Road.
After a couple drinks, they boarded a motorcycle and headed to the cemetery for a “fun date” far from the public eye, they told the police.
The couple parked their vehicle and walked along the tombs, and then decided to have a “quickie.”
One of the village watchmen told the police they were searching for the owner of the motorcycle they found parked outside the municipal cemetery Monday night when they heard moaning sounds.
They approached what would normally be a quiet corner of the graveyard and found the young couple in a compromising position.
Questioned by the police, the pair said they met for the first time at a drinking session.
The couple — one was a 17-year-old boy from Banga, Aklan and the other was a 21-year-old female college student from Ivisan, Capiz — apologized to the cops for that “graveyard shift.”
After knowing that they were not there to creep anyone out — except, maybe, the village watchmen who found them — or for anything gravely illegal, the police released the couple. No charges were filed. (Aklan Forum Journal/PN)
