KATHRYN Bernardo and Mark Alcala seem to be becoming more open about their rumored romance as the pair held each other’s hands while at a public establishment in Thailand.
Fan pages dedicated to the actress shared snaps of her and the Lucena City mayor descending an escalator with their hands intertwined. The pair, who were with several other companions including Bernardo’s glam team, were all-smiles while having a conversation with the group.
Bernardo also gave a glimpse of their Thailand trip through a video shared on her Instagram page on Friday, April 3. “Tom yum is life,” she said in the caption, referring to the Thai dish she ate in the Southeast Asian country.
While supporters of the actress expressed delight over the pair’s recent sighting, some raised eyebrows as they pointed out Alcala’s responsibilities as a public official amid the country suffering from the effects of the socio-economic crisis.
Dating rumors have been hounding Bernardo and Alcala since 2025 after they were spotted together in several instances. Just recently, the two were seen strolling at malls in separate instances.
