FORMER couple Katrina Halili and Kris Lawrence earned admiration for their friendship after they spent quality time together with their daughter Katie on the actress’ birthday.
Lawrence as well as his son Lyric were among Halili’s guests at her intimate birthday party at what appears to be a KTV bar, as seen on her Facebook page on Monday, Jan. 5.
“Thank you to my wonderful friends and family for the love, warm wishes, and unforgettable moments on my birthday! Here’s to many more years of friendship and happiness!” Halili captioned her post.
She also disclosed that Lawrence gave her a gift, although she did not immediately share what it is.
Halili then dedicated a separate post to express her gratitude to Lawrence and Lyric for being present on her birthday celebration.
“Thank you also, Chiq. Happy Birthday,” Lawrence replied via the comments section.
Meanwhile, Halili also marked her birthday with a photo shoot where she dressed up as Black Darna, her character in the hit 2005 TV series headlined by Angel Locsin.
Halili and Lawrence, who were in a relationship for five years, welcomed their daughter in 2012. They confirmed their breakup in 2014.
Even prior to Halili’s birthday, the pair seemed to have had constant communication as they co-parent Katie, who lives with the actress but frequently visits and bonds with Lawrence.
