Kris Aquino expressed her gratitude to Dingdong Dantes, whom she addressed as her “godson,” hinting that the both of them are gearing up to work in a project soon.

Aquino tagged Dantes in her latest Instagram post on Saturday, April 18, where she spoke about working with Dantes and am undisclosed team, seemingly hinting toward her comeback project.

She also shared that she was supposed to attend a “final presentation” for the show, though she rescheduled it to focus on her “infusion session with a very strong immunosuppresant” for her autoimmune diseases and to celebrate the 19th birthday of her son, Bimby.

“As for me I have one more infusion session of Rituxan. This is already my second cycle — it’s a very strong immunosuppressant but i’ve gotten encouraging results. The people I will be working with under the team created by my godson @dongdantes will just need to take extra precautions,” she said.

“There was supposed to be a final presentation earlier (April 18) but I asked for a resked. I didn’t want to see what my comeback show was going to look and sound like, because this is Bimb’s weekend and later we’re eating out (only my 2nd time since coming home) with very close family,” she said.

The “Kris TV” host and the Kapuso star have been friends since working together in the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Segunda Mano.”

Aquino was one of the principal sponsors in Dantes’ wedding with actress Marian Rivera in 2014.

Kris’ best gift for Bimby

Aquino also expressed her love for Bimby in his post, who turned 19 on April 19, and shared that she hopes he will find a special someone and have a daughter-in-law, if God permits her to live longer.

“I never thought I’d be excited for the day when Bimb really likes a girl. He told me he feels she’s ‘special’ – my birthday wish for my bunso is that she does become his first girlfriend and who knows, God willing also his last, yes, I’ll be very blessed to have her for my daughter in law (in 7-9 years?),” she said.

In one of their conversations, the host-actress also recalled when she asked Bimby’s permission if she could “send her flowers, balloons, candies/chocolates, food, and 1/2 of a couple hoodie in white since it’s summer,” prompting the latter to tell her to “chill.”

“I asked Bimb if she had a new phone – he freaked and said: ‘Mama, chill. You’ll overwhelm her because she’ll know it’s not from me but from you. Please let it flow?’” she added.

Aquino then explained where she’s coming from, saying that she witnessed dedicating so much of himself to taking care of her, that she simply wanted him to be happy. (Hannah Mallorca © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
