KRIS Aquino shared that she now has 11 autoimmune diseases, even as she announced that her son Bimby Aquino-Yap will be taking over her Instagram account for the meantime.

In her latest Instagram post since May, Aquino said that her nine primary autoimmune diseases she has been battling had resulted in her having two more additional health conditions, but she had yet to give details on these two newly discovered ones.

She, however, said in her new post that her rheumatoid arthritis got worse because of Typhoon “Crising”. Still, she is grateful that Bimby is feeling better after his stomach flu.

Aside from rheumatoid arthritis, Aquino previously listed down her other autoimmune conditions as the following: thyroiditis, chronic spontaneous urticaria, EGPA (Churg-Strauss Syndrome/eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis), systemic sclerosis/scleroderma, lupus (SLE), fibromyalgia, polymyositis, and mixed connective tissue disease. In the comments of her post, Aquino said her additional diseases were due to her conditions, while reiterating that she will keep on fighting for her sons.

“My effort to fight this health battle is not just for Kuya Josh [and] Bimb. I now have 9 primary autoimmune diseases, # 10 is a result of the 9, and I have an 11th disease that came about because of my lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren’s, and a few of my other autoimmune diseases,” she said. “I love my sons, and they aren’t ready to lose me, especially Bimb, who just turned 18. Thank you for loving me.”

Aquino further said in her post that she would now allow Bimby to handle her IG posts.

The host-actress, who is currently holding residence on a private beach owned by an unnamed friend, made headlines after gaining weight up to 112 pounds earlier this month. Her close friend, writer-editor Dindo Balares, also denied rumors that she is diagnosed with cancer. (Hannah Mallorca © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
