KRISHNAH Gravidez has been named Miss World Asia & Oceania.

The Philippine bet, who finished her journey in the Top 8, was initially one of the two frontrunners for the continental title, sharing the spotlight with Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri.

Opal ultimately clinched the continental award and later on won the Miss World crown. With this, Krishnah rightfully assumed the Miss World Asia & Oceania title.

The other continental queens are Martinique’s Aurélie Joachim (Americas & Caribbean), Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje Admassu (Africa), and Poland’s Maja Klajda (Europe).

Before the coronation, Krishnah told her fellow Filipinos that she is dedicating her Miss World experience to her kababayans.

Para sa inyo. Para sa bansa. Para sa lahat ng nangangarap,” she said.

Krishna eyed the country’s second Miss World crown after Megan Young, who won the Philippines’ first title in 2013.

Meanwhile, Megan expressed her heartbreak after Krishnah fell short in clinching the Miss World 2025 crown.

On Instagram Stories, Megan shared that she tuned in to the pageant at home while taking care of her newborn baby.

“We love you, Queen [Krishnah]!!!! You did so well and were AMAZING!!!! I’m still heartbroken though,” she said, including crying emojis.

Megan also uploaded a video of Krishnah’s question and answer portion and said, “Ganda ng sagooooot! Naka ngiti din si [Julia Morley]. (GMA Integrated News)
