SA NAKALIGAD nga mga sinimana, mainit ang sugilanon nga nagapadalagan kuno bilang alkalde sang syudad si Mrs. Marivic Mabilog. May nagasiling man nga magapapili sya bilang kongresista sang syudad.
Pero ang pamangkot, makandidato gid man sya ayhan? Sa iya gid man bala naghalin ang estorya nga makandidato sya? Ukon himu-himo naman ini sang may mga marikot sang pinsar agud may hambalan lang sa kapehan.
Pero sa matuod lang, mas qualified si Mrs. Mabilog magpadalagan sa ano man nga posisyon. Mas maalam sya kun ipaanggid mo sa iban nga ara sa Kongreso nga nagdalaug lang bangud sa poder sang pamilya. Sa husto lang nga sugilanon, mas labaw pa sya gani kun iban man lang da nga konsehal sang syudad ang paanggiran.
Ginkumusta sang sini nga tagsulat si Mrs. Mabilog kag ang ila pamilya. Ini nga sabat ni Marivic una nga naggwa sa RMN Iloilo.
Sa mga sabat sa questionnaires nga ginpadala sang RMN Iloilo, hugot ang pagpanginwala ni Marivic nga mapadalagan sya. Mas malipayon sya magsabat kun ang palamangkutanon tuhoy sa pamilya ang imo ihaboy sa iya. Mas nalangkag pa sya magsugid kun kumusta na sila sa ila pribado nga kabuhi.

RMN: Kumusta na si JPM (Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog)?
Marivic: He is doing well. He is glowing and basking in his new task as a full time 24/7 hands-on Daddy to his kids. More at peace. He grew stronger in his faith and he knows that all the persecution will come to an end and vindication will be his. He misses Iloilo City but foremost on his mind is the safety of his family.
RMN: Kamo as a family kumusta na?
Marivic: We are just as well. Healthier, happier and the kids are enjoying life away from politics with their Dad.
RMN: First Christmas of the civilian or citizen Jed. Ano ang feeling?
Marivic: Of course, we miss the traditional Christmas gathering of our family in Molo. A Mayor Jed and a Citizen Jed does not have any difference when it comes to the celebration of Christmas. We spent the day together and had our Christmas dinner together. The only difference, I guess is, citizen Jed prepared the Molo-style spaghetti (very good, you should ask him to prepare some for you when we return there someday) and after dinner, citizen Jed got to wash the dishes.
RMN: How’s the diabetes of JPM?
Marivic: Controlled. He is under the care of a medical doctor here.
RMN: If there are two words that you can describe the shaming of Du30 to your husband, what would that be?
Marivic: Three: Tell the truth. Three: Get a life.
RMN: U have plans in politics?
Marivic: None, currently.
RMN: If that is true, what prompted youu? What would be JPM’s role in the campaign then?
Marivic: Not applicable, yet.
RMN: May message ka kay Mayor Joe?
Marivic: Merry Christmas
RMN: Kay Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon (last time ginsibit mo sya sa Facebook)?
Marivic: Be a messenger of truth for Iloilo City.
RMN: Kay City Councilor (Plaridel) Nava?
Marivic: No message. I am still praying that I can find a space in my heart to forgive him. Jed is more forgiving than I am.
RMN: And (Joshua) Alim?
Marivic: Be the public servant you wanted to be in your mind.
RMN: Kay JPT (Cong. Jerry Treñas)?
Marivic: Happy New Year! Wishing him better health in the coming year.
RMN: JPM’s leaders?
Marivic: Keep the faith. Jed has not failed you and be proud of the kind of leader he is.
RMN: Sa nagkalatabu, ano ang lesson nga na-learn mo?
Marivic: God intervenes in everything that’s happening in our lives. Everything is a blessing in disguise. I read books on St. Mother Theresa then proceed from there. She said, “If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.”

Una: ang pagkandidato ni Marivic magatakos kun bala ang pagsakdag sang mga Ilonggo ara man gihapon sa ila. Ang iya kadalag-an mangin vindication sa mga akusasyon kag ginaatubang nga krisis karon sang anay alkalde.
Ikaduha: Indi man sya mabudlay nga magdaug kay may nahuman na si anay mayor Mabilog nga network sa idalum.
Ikatatlo: Indi man bag-o sa iya ang politika kag mahapos nya dag-on ang sambuwa sa politika bangud may simpatiya sa iya ang mga Ilonggo.
