BACOLOD City – A drug suspect was arrested in a sting operation on Rizal Street in Barangay 1, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
Rey Tortosa, 19, of Yunque Street in Barangay 1 was caught around 8:15 p.m. on Nov. 24, a police report showed.
Recovered from his possession were three sachets of suspected shabu, P1,000 marked money, P200 cash, and mobile phone.
Tortosa was detained in the lockup cell of the La Carlota City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
