BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation Barangay 3, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
The 37-year-old Jerry “Jerry Mahong” Diaz was caught after selling a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer for P500 on Mabini Street on Oct. 5, a police report showed.
Diaz was taken to the police station around 1 a.m., police said.
When frisked, Diaz yielded another sachet of shabu and drug paraphernalia, according to La Carlota police chief Superintendent Crescenciano Cordero.
Diaz was detained and faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
