BACOLOD City – Due to grudge, two men allegedly stabbed a resident of La Castellana town.

On Saturday, the 31-year-old Romel Castromayor of Barangay Camandag in the town died after sustaining fatal stab wounds.

Castromayor was declared dead on arrival at the La Castellana Rural Health Unit.

Police identified the suspects as Ricardo Bantolo, 23, and Juphet Bantolo, 27, both residents of Barangay Sag-ang, La Castellana.

The suspects had been harboring grudge towards the victim, investigation disclosed.

Juphet was arrested by the police, while Ricardo remains at large.

A knife and an ice pick were recovered from the crime scene./PN
