ILOILO City – A sari-sari (variety) store in Barangay Luna, La Paz district had been robbed, a police report showed.
Stocks worth an estimated P5,000 and proceeds worth P50 have gone missing, owner Rodel Lee Garlet told the police.
Garlet discovered the robbery at around 5:30 a.m. on Oct. 22.
The incident was referred to the barangay lupon.
Over in Barangay Divinagracia in the district, a resident complained that a neighbor smacked him on the head.
Rogaciano Fernandez Gatchalan complained of dizziness. Police told him to get himself checked by a doctor.
Gatchalan identified his attacker as George Alvarez.
The two had an altercation over a vacant lot at around 8:20 a.m. on Oct. 23 that led Alvarez to hit Gatchalan, the police report stated.
Police were letting the barangay lupon handle the dispute./PN
