ILOILO City – A pickup vehicle of the provincial government of Antique and a passenger tricycle collided into each other on a highway in Barangay Batonan, Culasi, Antique, a police report showed.
Three tricycle passengers were injured and taken to the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital in the capital town of San Jose, the police report stated without naming the wounded.
The tricycle driver, Danny Valencia, was injured as well and taken to the same hospital, police said.
A total of five passengers, all residents of Tigbobolo, Culasi, were on board the tricycle.
The collision happened at around 3:55 p.m. on Thursday.
Jessie Saligumba, a 40-year-old resident of Barangay Biga-a, Sibalom, was driving the pickup vehicle, an Isuzu D-Max (plate number: SJU-428).
Saligumba was taken to the Culasi municipal police station./PN
