ILOILO City – A woman from Barangay Caingin, La Paz district complained to the police that a man attacked her in an eatery.
Eugenie Gulmatico, 34, went to buy food at Beboy Luig Eatery in the village when “maltreated,” a police report showed.
Police identified the attacker as Rodolfo Dela Cruz, 58, of the same barangay.
Gulmatico was injured on the different parts of the body. Officers told her to get treated at West Visayas State University Medical Center, the police report stated.
The incident happened at around 7 a.m. on Sept. 12, police said.
Dela Cruz cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
