BACOLOD City – A man was wounded after he got stabbed by his drinking buddy in Barangay Talaban, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
The 21-year-old Rogie Testa was accused of attacking his fellow laborer 29-year-old Hansatol Moles around 11 p.m. on Sept. 27, a police report showed.
Moles sustained a stab wound on the body and was brought to a hospital for medical treatment.
Prior to the incident, Testa and Magbato figured in a heated argument. But it was not immediately established what triggered the altercation, police said.
After the stabbing, Testa hurriedly escaped on board a motorcycle together with his friend Bernie John Moles.
But they were intercepted at a police checkpoint near the municipal police station.
When frisked, Testa and Moles yielded sachets of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia.
They were detained in the lockup cell of the Himamaylan City police station, facing charges./PN
