ILOILO City – A 15-year-old boy got electrocuted in Barangay Poblacion, Leganes, Iloilo, a police report showed.
Andres Sumugat Jr. died of third-degree burns on Jan. 12.
Sumugat accidentally stepped on a live wire connected to the Christmas lights owned by the local government of Leganes, the police report stated.
His father Andres told the police Sumugat and friends were walking on the road in the village at around 10 p.m. when his son slipped and stepped on the live wire, stated the report./PN
