ILOILO City – Policemen caught a man soliciting bets for an illegal numbers game in Barangay 16 Poblacion, San Miguel, Iloilo.
If found guilty by the court for being a collector or agent (cabo, cobrador, coriador or variants thereof), the 52-year-old Joven Campo faces imprisonment from eight years and one day to 10 years.
Campo was arrested on Thursday around 1 p.m. He was taken to the San Miguel police station.
Police recovered from Campo, a resident of Barangay Buga, Leon, P1,696 and betting slips.
