BACOLOD City – A couple was shot to death in Barangay Rizal, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The 35-year-old Jesselito Hisman and Maricel Alastra – all residents of the village –sustained gunshot wounds on the body. They died on the spot, a police report showed.
Tagged suspect was Jesselito’s 40-year-old brother Jose Benjie.
According to police investigators, a heated argument ensued between the suspect and the victims around 7:45 p.m. on July 5.
This prompted Jose Benjie to fire at Jesselito and Alastra.
It was, however, not immediately established what triggered the altercation.
Officers of the San Carlos City police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect, who fled after the incident./PN
