BACOLOD City – Around P56,000 worth of cash and personal belongings were stolen from a house in Barangay Granada.
Unidentified thieves barged into the residence of the 59-year-old Joseph Eopoldo around 1:30 a.m. on May 16, police said.
Among those taken were a 42-inch television worth P23,000; pairs of shoes worth P4,000; a pair of slippers worth P1,200; two cellphones worth P14,000; a necklace, a pair of earrings and a watch worth P10,000; and P3,800 cash.
Eopoldo also lost his wallet, which contained several identification and automated teller machine cards, said Police Station 5.
The culprits gained entry through the sliding windows, police said./PN
