MISS Eco International Alexie Brooks couldn’t hide her happiness when she shared about her almost one-year relationship with her girlfriend.
In the “Ask Boy Abunda” segment of the “Cayetano in Action with Boy Abunda” June 1 episode, the King of Talk Boy Abunda asked the beauty queen about her love life.
Alexie said that she has not neglected her heart and is actually happy now. The beauty queen shared that she and her partner have been in a relationship for almost a year.
“How important is this man to your concept of happiness?” Boy asked.
But Alexie replied, “I’ll rephrase [the question]. The woman,” before finally answering the veteran host’s question.
“Very important, Tito. I realized it when my grandma passed away and she was there and that was the first time I caught myself down on the floor and she helped me get up from the floor. I didn’t eat in a few days, she did not eat in a few days,” the beauty queen from Leon, Iloilo said.
She added that this gesture of her partner proved to her how much she cared for and loved her.
“I’m grateful everyday na she’s there to make me happy and supporting me in the dreams that I want,” she concluded.
Boy, meanwhile, has this message for Alexie, “As your Tito, I simply say, just love and be happy. And do not ever allow anybody again to steal that happiness. You deserve that.”
On the May 21 episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, Alexie shared about his androgynous identity. “Androgyny” is a gender expression that combines traditional masculine and feminine traits.
