TV HOST Luis Manzano feels relieved after being cleared of cancer.
This, after his hairstylist noticed a lump on Manzano’s head that made him decide to consult a specialist and undergo several tests including a biopsy.
“May kailangan i-biopsy dito sa taas ng ulo ko. Parang ang biopsy kung ‘di ako nagkakamali ay i-check kung cancerous or not or kung malignant or benign,” he said on his latest vlog.
Manzano revealed that he was bit scared about the test results.
“Do I feel okay? Yes. Apat na doktor na ang nagsabi na malabo-labo talaga na it’s cancerous or kung ano man may konting kaba? Siyempre kasi i-stitch ‘yan e, isasama ko kayo sa procedure parang tatanggalan ng sample tapos 2 to 3 stitches so papanoorin ko kayo. But para sa akin ang main goal ko is to create awareness kasi napakarami siyempre ‘yung mga binabantayan na mga nunal growth, kita yan sa mga katawan,” he explained.
The TV host also added that the most difficult part of his procedure was the waiting period for his biopsy and other test results.
“Ito na ‘yung pinaka-mahirap sa lahat sa lahat-lahat ng mga test. Minsan ‘yung procedure itself hassle pero ang pinaka mabigat diyan ay ang pag-aantay ng results kasi malalaman to kung benign ba to or malignant, I think five to seven days kapag binigay na ‘yung sample mas hassle ‘yun, mas hassle ‘yung ganung stress na ‘yun.
