BACOLOD City – A man drowned in Calibago River in Barangay Caliban, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Leo Limco, a resident of the village, was 39 years old.
According to the police, the victim was swept by the strong water current while fishing around 6 a.m. on May 19.
He was rushed to the Rural Health Unit but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”/PN
