CAPIZ – A 44-year-old man was stabbed to death in Sitio Matnog, Barangay Cabugcabug, President Roxas, Capiz over the weekend.
Eduardo Berbaño Alonio sustained 31 stab wounds and was declared “dead on arrival” at the Bailan District Hospital.
The suspect was his cousin Bernardo Berbaño Jr., 29, also of Barangay Cabugcabug.
From what the police so far gathered, Berbaño got irked because Alonio hit one of their nephews. Both men ended up fighting.
A knife was used to stab Alonio, police said.
Family members turned over Berbaño to the police./PN
