ILOILO City – A 25-year-old man died while his brother and a friend were wounded. Two men stabbed them on Tuesday night on Simeon Aguilar Street, Passi City.

Rhean Espinosa died of multiple stab wounds.

His brother Rino, 23, and friend Ruby Jun Gomez, 25, survived the attack but were taken to the Western Visayas Medical Center for the treatment of their injuries.

The three stabbing victims were residents of Barangay Dacal, San Enrique, Iloilo.

According to Chief Inspector Norberto Delmas, Passi City police chief, the stabbing happened at around 10:30 p.m. The Espinosa brothers and Gomez were walking. Two men, however, blocked their way.
