BACOLOD City – He was found dead in Purok 2 in Barangay 3, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
The 40-year-old Saturnino Tihuk was believed to have drowned in the river, police said.
Tihuk – resident of Barangay Nauhang, Sipalay City – was last seen alive drinking with his friends on Nov. 14 around 5:30 p.m.
Rescuers fished out the victim’s body the next day around 4:25 p.m.
Policemen of Sipalay have yet to rule out foul play in the incident./PN
