ILOILO City – Injuries on the head and body were what an elderly man sustained after falling off a passenger jeepney.
The 63-year-old Bernardo Rada of Barangay Batuan, Oton, Iloilo was confined at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
Rada was about to disembark from the Oton-Iloilo City jeepney when he accidentally fell on the road.
The incident happened at around 7 p.m. on May 17 in Barangay Poblacion South, Oton.
The owner of the jeepney vowed to shoulder Rada’s hospital expenses./PN
