BACOLOD City – In San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, a sand-and-gravel worker was found dead in a canal near his workplace. He was believed killed.
Police identified him as the 35-year-old Rodolfo Sasam of Margarita Extension, Barangay 6, San Carlos City.
Sasam had stab wounds inflicted by an ice pick and was hit with a hard object, police investigator Jake Caballero said.
Sasam was seen drinking a day before he was found dead, a police report showed.
San Carlos City police have yet to identify the suspect./PN
