BACOLOD City – After jumping off a tower, a 21-year-old man died in Purok 5, Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, police said.
Resident Ohmar Balasabas created alarm and scandal in their house and ran away around 2 a.m on Sept. 15 prompting his parents to report to the village watchmen, a police report showed.
Father Mario said Balasabas had been sleepless and was behaving strangely.
The village watchmen had searched for Balasabas until around 5 a.m., Mario found him lifeless under a 140-feet high tower at the back of their house.
Based on the initial investigation, Balasabas discreetly climbed the tower and jumped fatally hitting his head on the concrete ground./PN
