PRESIDENT ROXAS, Capiz – In Barangay Ibaca here around 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, a 32-year-old motorcycle-driving man was shot to death.
Duran Ballon Barredo of Barangay Hanglid was on his way home from a wake when ambushed, police said.
As this was being written, the number of Barredo’s attackers remained unknown.
Concerned citizens brought Barredo to the Bailan District Hospital where doctors declared him “dead on arrival”. Responding policemen, meanwhile, recovered from the crime scene slug and spent bullet shells of a .45 firearm./PN
