BACOLOD City – A man was shot dead by an unidentified suspect around 9:25 a.m. on Thursday in Purok Poblacion, Barangay Igmaya-an, Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental
Julie Camilo Toledano, 27, of Purok Kulasi, Barangay Kumaliskis in the town, sustained a gunshot wound on his head. He died on the spot, police said.
The man was drinking coffee inside a store in the town’s public market when the incident happened.
A witness told police investigators that the suspect was wearing a brown jacket and brown walking shorts. He was around 30 to 35 years old.
Two empty shells of a .45-caliber pistol were recovered at the crime scene.
