BACOLOD City – A man was killed while two others were hurt in a stabbing incident in Barangay Bata, a police report showed.
The 26-year-old resident Jason Borbon died of multiple stab wounds on the body, police said.
Among those who were injured were Crisande Hoyohoy and Ronald Ignacio, also residents of the village, added the police.
Hoyohoy and Ignacio were confined at the Our Lady of Mercy Specialty Hospital in this capital city.
Officers from Police Station 3 identified the suspects as Canlaon City, Negros Oriental residents Rolando Aguinia, 29 and Rico Aguinia, 23. They are related but the police report did not indicate how.
The Aguinias were detained at the police station’s lockup facility.
Police were still determining what caused the stabbing around 10 p.m. on Sunday./PN
