BACOLOD City – Charged with illegal cockfighting, a man was nabbed in Barangay Sampinit, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified him as Sofronio Sabillon, 59, of Barangay San Miguel, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Sabillon’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant around 12:30 p.m. on July 27, a police report showed.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Bago City police station.
The court recommended a P30,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
