BACOLOD City – A man was shot to death by motorcycle-riding men in Barangay RSB, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
The 45-year-old Wilfredo De Asis sustained gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.
According to the police, De Asis was drinking coffee with his companion when one of the two unidentified suspects approached and peppered him with bullets around 5:35 a.m. on Wednesday, it added.
Recovered from the crime scene were four slugs and three empty shells of .45-caliber pistol, police said.
Police have yet to establish the motive in the incident.
De Asis was previously charged with murder. He was also involved in a stealing incident in Murcia, Negros Occidental, the police added.
Officers of the La Carlota City police station have yet to identify the suspects, who fled after the shooting./PN
