ILOILO – What started as a drinking spree turned deadly between two men in Barangay Catiringan, Igbaras, Iloilo.
Reymart Eusuya, a resident of the village, sustained a stab wound on the chest, a police report showed.
He died while being treated at the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
Police identified his drinking buddy as Rolly Gorero, 38, of Barangay La Paz, Hamtic, Antique.
Both had an altercation while having drinks in Barangay Catiringan at around 7 p.m. on Monday, prompting Gorero to attack Eusuya, police said, citing witnesses.
Responding cops of Igbaras were able to arrest Gorero, who may face a murder charge./PN
